Sacred Grounds Focus Group

Oseh Shalom is a community committed to Tikun Olam (repairing the world). One way to improve our environment and waterways is by planting native plants.

We want your input regarding planting native plants!

Please join us at one of the Focus Group meetings listed below. We scheduled 3 confidential focus group conversations in which you can share your views, obstacles and concerns regarding planting native species on your property. The focus group conversations will be held online and facilitated by a consultant. Gardening experience is not required. Each focus group is limited to 8 people.

Focus group meeting choices are on October 17, October 26 and October 28. These meetings will be held via Zoom. The meetings last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

What is important about native plants? How do they support our environment and waterways?

Oseh Shalom has teamed with Sacred Grounds MD, a project of the National Wildlife Federation, to explore how we can make a difference by planting with native plants. With your participation, our Sacred Grounds project seeks to educate all of us about the importance of caring for our local waterways and precious environment by planting native plants in our own gardens and on Oseh Shalom grounds.
